Sometimes the pretended result is not achieved or, if so, the final result is not the expected one. It happened to you? Have you ever asked yourself why that happens? Usually this occurs because the body does not work separately from the mind and all processes are influenced by the emotional and psychological state.
Based on the recognition of the importance of psychological factors on the appearance and maintenance of problematic situations related with nutritional behaviour, the psychotherapeutic group support can be the ideal way to improve the already used techniques in weight control and in all related problems
What are these groups?
These are groups especially pointed to data and to the acquisition of healthy eating habits and to the approach of matters related with motivation, self-steem promotion, family and social relationships, among others.
How do they work?
These are 1:30 hrs weekly sessions oriented by two NUPE psychologists, in time schedules to be established to each group. The initial duration of this process equals two weekly sessions, followed by maintenance sessions to be performed with higher time intervals.
